Join us for this webinar when Dr Peter Barbrook-Johnson will introduce participants to agent-based modelling (ABM).

ABM is a computational modelling approach in which we build simulations of social and policy processes in an attempt to understand better those processes. We can also use these simulations to ask ‘what-if?’ type questions (i.e., to explore policy scenarios).

In this webinar Peter will (i) explain what ABM is, (ii) explain how it is done, (iii) give an example of some of his recent policy ABM work, and (iv) give a demonstration of a simple model.

No prior knowledge is needed participants will leave the webinar with a clear understanding of what ABM is, and when (and how) it can be a powerful approach to use.
