Job Title: Senior Administrative Assistant

Salary: £21,585 to £24,983 per annum pro rata

Applications are invited for this part-time (0.5 FTE) post to provide varied administrative support to the UEA team involved in the ESRC Business and Local Government Data Research Centre (BLGDRC), and to liaise with other partners involved in the Centre and oversee researcher access to the UEA ‘safe room’ for secure data access.
Duties will include: collation of information on activities of the Centre for passing to the lead partner (Essex University); oversight of the running of a ‘safe room’ which will provide secure data access to researchers; oversight of the UEA budget associated with the Centre and liaising with UEA’s Research and Innovation Service and the University of Essex over budgetary matters; helping to organise events such as seminars, lectures and workshops associated with the Centre, often in conjunction with external partners, and general administrative/PA support.
You will have a good standard of education with a minimum of five passes at GCSE at grades A-C including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications or experience. A high level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail is required.
